Chincoteague Decoys: Tides & Time
This fall the Ward Museum is excited to celebrate the place of Chincoteague decoys in the world of carving, and in the heritage of the Eastern Shore. Come experience the form and artistry of both antique and contemporary Chincoteague decoys. Learn about this unique island and the carvers born of this place. Opening Reception October 8 during the Chesapeake Wildfowl Expo.

Bharatanatyam Indian Dance
Indian classical dances are rooted in devotion; a majority of them originated as temple dances. Moushumi Chakraborty teaches the classical dance forms, especially Bharatanatyam, as building blocks to choreograph a Rabindranath Tagore dance.
